Foods that are labeled sugarless or sugar free can still have sugars hide in places we may not expect to find it. Food ingredients on food labels that end in “ose” are actual sugars. Fructose is a common one. You may find natural sugars such as, molasses or barley malt that can still be detrimental. Many sodas and drinks may not contain sugar, but harmful acids to the teeth. Citric acid and sucralose are also harmful. Switch to plain water, or use a straw to lessen decay.
