Chelsea Backman - Front Office

Hi, I’m Chelsea. I love working at Dr. Blake’s office and love the great atmosphere at work.  I was born and raised in Provo.  My husband and I met when we were 13, and have been married since 2012.  I have been working at Dr. Blake’s since 2012 and my main responsibilities include, but not limited to, scheduling, verifying insurances, and over-seeing our social media presence.  I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and family, traveling, reading, and doing any crafts!

Wendy Harris - Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Wendy! I was born and raised in a small town near Richfield, Utah. After high school, I attended Provo College and graduated from the dental assisting program in 1994. I enjoyed working as a dental assistant until my husband and I started our family in 2000 at which time I decided to be a stay-at-home mom. We now have four beautiful girls and one adorable little boy (translation: lots of drama mingled with a little destruction!) I enjoy spending my spare time with my family doing anything active outdoors, playing games, and watching movies together. Some of my hobbies include reading, cooking/baking, crafting, biking, and running. A little secret about me: I’m obsessed with home decor, home improvement projects, and organization. I feel so privileged to be a part of the team here at Blake Dental and could not ask to work with a better dentist or staff. I look forward to meeting you and helping you have a great dental experience!

Tami Tomlinson - Dental Assistant

Hey there, my name is Tami and I was born and raised in Lindon, Utah. I graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and then went to Provo College, completing their dental assisting program in 1995. I worked for 12 years in a dental office and then have been here since 2007. I very much enjoy working here, getting to know our patients, and helping them to have the best dental experience possible.  I also enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my puppy, Gracie.  A few of my other hobbies and activities that I absolutely love are babysitting, cycling, and photography – especially taking scenery pictures.

Lisa Gray - RDH Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Lisa!  I received my hygiene degree and license in 2008. I then served an 18 month LDS mission to Vancouver Canada. I began working at Dr. Blake’s office in February 2010. I have had the fabulous opportunity to travel abroad for various dental missions.  In May 2008 I stayed at the only dental school in Ghana, West Africa and participated in setting up a program for hygiene students. In November 2010 I went with the Hirsche Smiles Foundation to Guatemala to help perform periodontal treatments. I enjoy traveling and sports, but my favorite thing is being a mother!

Kandace Bradfield - RDH Dental Hygienist

Hi, my name is Kandace!  I have been one of the hygienists here since 2010.  I was born and raised in Pocatello Idaho.  In 2008, I moved to Utah to attend Utah College of Dental Hygiene, where I graduated with my bachelors degree.  I have been married since 2010 and we have a little boy who keeps us very busy!  I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors.

Kristen Daniels - RDH Dental Hygienist

Hey there! My name is Kristen, and I was born and raised in sunny southern California. I spent two years at Brigham Young University-Idaho where I earned my Associates degree. Following BYU-Idaho, I attended the Utah College of Dental Hygiene where I completed my Bachelor’s degree. I have lived here in Utah for 10 years now. As much as I miss the warm California sun, I absolutely love living here in Utah. I have four adorable little boys. I enjoy being with my family, doing anything outdoors, painting, baking, and crafting.

McKenzie Long - RDH Dental Hygienist

Hi! My name is McKenzie Long and I have the pleasure of being one of the dental hygienist at Blake Dental. I grew up in Price, Utah. In high school, I was fortunate enough to work as a dental assistant. Upon graduation, I moved to Orem to pursue a career in dental hygiene. I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2007. I love what I do and I cannot say enough about the quality of care you will receive from this office. When I’m not working, I’m busy having fun with my daughters and husband. I enjoy fitness, nutrition, and an active lifestyle.
