http://www.ada.org/9611.aspx New guidelines from the American Dental Association recommend children 0-3 years old use a grain-size amount of fluoride toothpaste, as opposed to just using water, like previously advised. Children 3-6 years old should use a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste to prevent cavities and tooth decay.
